Brand Ethos wins our second design effectiveness award

Step into the NHS redesign gains recognition from the Design Business Association's judging panel
Yesterday's awards ceremony for the Design Business Association's annual design effectiveness awards recognised our joint entry with the Health Careers team at Health Education England with a bronze award for the redesign of Step into the NHS, a website, competition and set of resources for children, young people and schools.

The design effectiveness awards are one of the most respected in the world. Judged by a prestigious panel of clients, and jointly submitted by agencies with their clients, entries are comprehensive and the judging process is rigorous. Getting through is an achievement in itself.

“We are incredibly proud to have won this award, our second for design effectiveness. It is a measure of the trust the Health Careers team at Health Education England had in our creative process. Thanks to their excellent monitoring we were able to demonstrate the significant difference the redesign made. Which, all in all, means that more young people can be confident in their use of the careers information and make decisions about their future.” Lisa Cromer, design director at Brand Ethos.

This is our second design effectiveness award. Our first one, back in 2017, was for our design strategy work with Brunel University London. You can see our entry here.
